The Photographic Art Prize opens on 1st October 2026, inviting photographers from Murrurundi and surrounding areas to share their creativity and showcase their photographic talent.
The competition is open to photographers of all ages and experience levels, with the freedom to enter images on any subject. Whether you capture stunning landscapes, memorable portraits, beloved pets, fascinating wildlife or striking architecture, we’d love to see your work.

There’s a $500 prize for the Overall Winner, plus five category prizes of $200 each.
Entries open 1st October 2026 and close 31st January 2027.
The winners will be announced on 15th February 2027 and exhibited online.
Winning photographs will also be showcased at Galeto On Mayne from 20th February 2027.
Whether you’re a passionate photographer, an enthusiastic amateur or a young photographer taking your first steps, we encourage you to enter and be part of this celebration of photography in our community.
