RSL Memorial Hall

A 1897 Oddfellows hall on Mayne Street, converted into the town's war memorial after World War II.

Built in 1897 as a Manchester Unity Oddfellows Hall, the building was bought by the district war memorial committee for £1,500 in 1946, with Sydney architect R. Minnett engaged to plan its conversion into a soldiers’ memorial hall. It was officially gazetted as the Murrurundi Memorial Hall in 1947. Known locally as the RSL Hall, it’s still used today for community events and exhibitions. One of 30 stops on the town's Heritage Walk.
